I feel as if this is just the beginning of more and more trials that will be laid before us in this world! But I believe as Christians we can over come this! We simply need to devote our hearts to God and live with a passion for Him every day of our lives. We need to stand up for what we believe in and not be torn down by government ideals of religion and faith (or what they have boxed Christianity into!) Sure, I wish Palin/ McCain would have won, but regardless, it doesn't change my own spiritual life. If anything it should made me strive to become more in love with my heavenly Father, because I know everything will all work out in the end. He has everything under control, cuz after all he did create this world! I try pray if persecution happens, which it will, that we can all stand firm and try to show God's love to others, not hate.( it's hard to do, but we can do it!)

Summer was good.

No, it was great! Although it was a very interesting one... full of turns and mysteries! But all for the best (I think?)

Twas sad how fast it went by though... and I hardly got to see many of my friends, some not at all, and I feel bad about that. I was just really busy and I had alot of family crap going on that I might post about laterz! My job was great, but it kept me from hanging out all the time. No complaining since I made monnies though!!!!! Hopefully I'll be coming down more now since I have a cool place to stay!!! AKA Ryan, Wes, Danny dorm room!!!! WOOT! (speaking of that... their place totally rocks!)

Plus I met an awesome person!!!!! (well actually I met about 8! LOL) I joined a Post group with SouthEast and got really involved with that. Every tuesday night we had a worship service and then hanged out at Starbucks. Then on Sunday we would have our small group! They are all really amazing ppl! I told them stories about alot of you guys, about the good and funny times we had! They helped me alot this summer challenge my faith! Plus God taught me alot, not just though the small group, but also through over coming alot of silly stuff in my life. (finally- *whew*) Sorry I kinda lost what I was going to talk about... anyways, Kenna, Beth Mollie, and Nate! Cool new friends that I hope you all can meet one day! Kenna is going to UK to be a vet, and she's the one that got me hooked to the Twilight series. This summer we are going to be pen pals, and I'm sure we will probably going on and on about that silly, yet amazing book! Beth is going down to Alabama (sick.. near where Wes went!) and shes on some really nice soccer scholarship thingie. Mollie is going to school here and has a filppin sweet apartment with a pool! Then there's Nate! He's already graduated, but he's alot in the same major as me! He was cool to talk to and share similar college horror stories! Well, enough about them.

Just wanted to update on what's been going on this summer. There's more I could talk about, such as my mom's side of the family is basically suing us for our house( they wants to keeps it! And takes it away!!!).... LOL... and that's another long story. Although if you don't know anything about it, just make sure you pray for my parents... they have had to deal with my crazy relatives for two years now over this and other dumb issues! But everything will be ok, so no worries!

Well here's to my senior year.... WOW.

So I've been stuck in a book the past few days, taking it with me everywhere I have been. Although now that I have finished the book, Twilight, I fear that I might read to quickly the rest of the series without even taking time to enjoy each chapter individually. I just can't put it down though... something about it makes me want to keep reading and the emotions and feelings I get from reading it make me very...something. I can't place it but I know it's a good thing.

Well I highly recommend the book Twilight. I think TK would too. Sure, it seems like it could be a sappy tale just from the description, but it really is something else. Maybe because I can connect to it in some ways... or maybe I put connections to things happening with my life... hmm.

People are funny.

This weekend was an interesting one. In my hopes I wanted to spend it with everyone, but I understand that people either don't care enough, or simply were just busy, which is understandable, even if they don't care. I did get to spend it with Wes. Wes, what would I do without you. I think his parents mistake me for their actual son now, for the last 4 weekends I have spend over 3 nights at his house. LOL. He is a great friend... I shouldn't make fun of him as much.

Anyways, saturday was fun. I woke up and I watched the last of Avatar and I cried. AMAZING> Then off to get a ps3. There the guy gave me the "Why are you buying this" eye, but I just said Metal Gear Solid 4... and I think he understood. Next was lunch at a Japanese steak house with the parents! YUM YUM! A little girl at our table was so afraid of fire... she wouldn't look up the whole time. Finally back over in Louisville I bet up with Nate, Beth, Amanda, and Kenna! (Not Treni and Sephie! Although I wish they were free!) We saw dark knight and phantom of the opera! Both great movies! And I found out the main guy in phantom was the main guy in 300... yikes! I finished the weekend off with Mamma Mia with my parents last night. Surprisingly I liked it alot!

Well that's about it. But it was good.

Yay! Things seem to be finally going well. Last night I converted two people to Kung Pow. I still don't know if they liked it... but at least I got them to quote it! (THATS ALOT OF NUTS!) LOL. Then after that... more ask a ninja!

Then our friends left and Wes and I played Final Fantasy 4 together, each with our own DS. You would assume Wes would have beaten the game already since it's his like fav. But no, he hasn't! Thanks to Tk coming in and distracting little Wes Wes for a couple days. I'm actually alot farther than Wes is right now though! But probably not for long...

PS- It's my birthday tomorrow! I really want a PS3 so I can play metal gear... but I don't know. Anyone have 500 they wanna donate? LOL.

(So yeah, Nick told me I should use lj more. I thought about it and thought some more. The main reason I haven't been on is because I've been busy with work and life. BUT I want to try and post more!)

I'm back from the deep darkness of not posting in like 10 years. After randomly glancing at this site and some of the recent posts you guys have made, I realized I have been out of the loop a rather large bit.

Well to make a long story short:

1.School dominates my life like a monkey dominates a small Mexican child.
2.I have hunger issues... I haven't been eating much lately.
3.I'm flying to visit Ryan and drive back with him VERY soon, which is all I can think about at the moment as I wait for school to devour itself.
4.I'll be home for the major part of the summer, while 4-5 weeks in New York doing ministry related art stuff.
5.TK is insane and will be until his wife shaves his beard one day.

Sorry I haven't been on this in FOREVER! It's just school has consumed my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, I bought a book about black women and their hair styles today..hmmm I'm thinking great gift for my roommate!

Hayden Panettiere is finally 18! And you know what that means!!!! LOL. Anyways, happy birthday Hayden! Don't have too much fun where ever you are in the world.

PS! She's the cheerleader from the tv show Heroes and is the little girl in that very evil movie...Remember the Titans...(I can't believe I just typed that)
